Abstract: The aim of the project is to improve the competencies of 140 students (107 women and 33 men) of the Faculty of Management of Lublin University of Technology related to the Discipline of Management Science and Quality, corresponding to the needs of the local economy, labour market and society through the acquisition of professional qualifications, communication skills, IT skills and analytical thinking and problem solving. The objective is implemented until the end of June 2018. Support is provided to students from one to maximum three final semesters of Bachelor's or Master's studies at WZ from the following majors: Management, Production Management and Engineering, Finance and Accounting. Activities leading to the achievement of the objective: vocational trainings: Financial Management (ERP) in Microsoft Dynamics for 30 people, Production Management (ERP) in Microsoft Dynamics for 30 people, VCC trainings (for people other than ERP): Starting and developing a company, including startups (35h) for 48 people, VCC Negotiations with elements of NLP (35h) for 48 people, VCC Sales techniques (35h) for 48 people, VCC Information presentation systems in business (35h) for 48 people, VCC Outsourcing and Offshoring in business processes (35h) for 48 people. Vocational training ends with an external exam and obtaining a certificate based on the VCC standard. In addition, all project participants take part in classes (including workshops) forming communication competencies (group work, self-presentation) and obtain these competencies. For all participants workshops are organised in the form of a project related to the educational results of the project, shaping IT (including information retrieval), analytical and problem-solving competences. All participants take part in study visits to employers, during which they deepen their practical knowledge of the acquired competences. Students also take part in 3-day study visits: for 70 persons in companies in Lublin and its surroundings, for the remaining 70 - study visits at employers in Warsaw. The program of visits for each group, developed by the Project Council, allows to maximize the effects, during the study visit each group presents a project in front of the employer. This work is evaluated by the employer. Project implemented in the discipline of management and quality science.
