Abstract: The main objective of the project was the preparation and implementation of an international didactic course "Protection and management of heritage of the highest value - the UNESCO World Heritage system", aimed at architecture students. A syllabus for the academic course was developed. The course was developed in English and was implemented in a blended learning format. The course presented the methodology for the protection, management and use of historic sites developed in the UNESCO World Heritage system. The presented issues were illustrated with the best examples of practical protection and use of monuments inscribed on the World Heritage List in Europe. The course consisted of 2 parts: the theoretical part carried out remotely, both synchronously and asynchronously based on the provided teaching materials; the practical part carried out stationary in Lublin and Klodzko - the exercises were accompanied by classes field classes in the most valuable objects and complexes of the region (Kazimierz Dolny, Janowiec, Klodzko). The course was aimed at architecture students from Ukraine. As part of the Project, teaching materials presenting the World Heritage methodology were developed. A selection was also prepared and examples of good practices were developed on the basis of the most valuable objects, including primarily objects from the World Heritage List in Europe. For the purposes of the course, the teaching platform of the Faculty of Construction and Architecture was adapted, where all teaching materials, description of practices and selection of literature were placed. This allowed those participating in the course had access to all information in one place. Materials for study visits (Zamość, Kazimierz Dolny, Janowiec,Duszniki) were developed, as well as teaching materials for creativity workshops. It was possible to implement two courses (2022 and 2023) and a total of 40 female students from Ukraine took part in them. Each student participating in the course received a stipend. The products developed as part of the project are also used after the project ends. The course has been introduced into the curriculum for architects at the Faculty of Construction and Architecture in the English version for students coming to WBiA under the Erasmus+.
