Abstract: The aim of the research project entitled "Innovative Materials in Environmental and Health Protection" is to develop and study the properties of modern materials and products whose industrial and economic application will significantly improve the quality of life for the people of the Lublin region and the country. The project tasks will include the development of new materials with precisely defined structural parameters and properties, including: implants and composites for use in medicine, mineral sorbents for purifying water and wastewater from organic and inorganic pollutants, functional additives for use in the construction materials industry, and the production and study of aging processes of bio-oils for use in power transformers to replace petroleum-based insulating oils.
