Abstract: The project is part of the civil engineering and transport scientific discipline. It concerns the development of methods for CO2 capturing, where one of the main its emitters the cement manufacturing industry. The aim of the proposed project is to obtain ultrapure zeolites and mesoporous silica materials from the waste solution after the production of zeolites from fly ash. The scope of the project includes the implementation of laboratory-scale syntheses, followed by the design and construction of a pilot line for the production of the above-mentioned materials in a quarter technical scale. This will allow to obtain functional materials with specific structural parameters that will be tested for their use to capture CO2 and in hydrogen storage processes. Potential recipients of the project results will be energy and new types of materials production companies.
