Abstract: The goal of the project is to update, expand and maintain the database on the content of Polish technical journals BazTech (http://baztech.icm.edu.pl/), from 2022 to 2024. The database registers and makes available free of charge descriptions of scientific and branch journals published by scientific units, scientific and research institutes, committees of the Polish Academy of Sciences, scientific associations, as well as branch journals and conference materials included in the indexed periodicals. The specific goals are: making available a complete and reliable source of information about publications appearing in Polish journals from the fields of technical sciences, science and environmental protection; promoting and popularizing the achievements of Polish scientific and technical ideas in order to increase the impact of the achievements of Polish science on the economy and innovation; stimulating public interest in the results of research through unlimited sharing of information about publications, actively contributing to the development of open science and e-learning by expanding the database into an open full-text collection; enabling bibliometric analysis through citation registration (appendix bibliographies). The outcome of the project is the popularization of knowledge and science using the database and the scientific and development works contained therein in social and economic areas. Results: expansion of the database by 31,050 records; addition of 21,735 bibliographies; addition of 8,050 affiliations. In addition, within the framework of the project, the database will expand to include: a collection of articles published in the OA model in the field of technical sciences through negotiations with about 60 journal publishers; the addition of DOIs and about 3,000 PDF files to archival annuals; and the addition of ORCID. The availability of BazTech increases the level of access to scientific information positively influencing the social and economic development of the country and the growth of the importance of science. The data are indexed by services such as Google Scholar, contributing to the increase in the number of articles in technical sciences and the increase in the Hirsch index of Polish authors. The project is implemented by a Consortium of 22 Institutions, including the Leader - Lublin University of Technology. The durability of the outcomes, for a period longer than required, will be ensured by the development of the product which is the current BazTech database through the implemented records.
