Abstract: The project carried out in the discipline of mechanical engineering deals with the recovery of energy from the environment especially vibrations of machine components. Energy harvesting, including energy recovery in the industrial environment eliminates the need to search for sources of fossil energy and is beneficial to society and the environment. The aim of the project is to internationalize Polish science and increase recognition of its achievements within the discipline of mechanical engineering and to internationalize Polish science and increase recognition of its achievements and commercialization of research results. The objectives will be achieved by organizing international meetings of researchers, inventors, entrepreneurs and students in the form of workshops during which cooperation between the participants will be established or deepened. During the workshops the achievements of teams in the field of energy recovery from the environment will be presented, as well as examples of implementation and commercialization of work results.
