Abstract: The scientific goal of the project, which is being carried out in the discipline of mechanical engineering, is to develop tools, methods and means to improve the relative measurement uncertainty by developing and implementing a new force reference standard up to 100 kN into the national metrological infrastructure. The intermediate goal of the work is based on the development and validation of a unique reference standard for the unit of force, which has the status of a national standard. The practical implementation of this goal will involve the construction of a completely new measurement station based on the assumptions prepared during the construction of the Świętokrzyskie Laboratory Campus of GUM in Kielce. The aim of the research at the force unit reference standard station in Kielce and at the GUM in Warsaw is to achieve a significant improvement in the quality of tests and calibrations of force measuring instruments. The utilitarian goal of the project is to complement the laboratory potential of GUM, which will result in creating conditions for cooperation between professional and innovative laboratory metrology of GUM and the economy.
