Abstract: The project includes support for the organization of scientific conferences entitled: "XIV School of Machining" and "XLIII Scientific School of Abrasive Machining" on September 15-17, 2021, at the Lublin University of Technology. The conferences are organized simultaneously as separate lecture sessions. The total number of conference participants is approximately 100, including approximately 20 foreign speakers. The aim of the project is to organize conferences presenting the latest scientific achievements in the field of machining and abrasive machining. The organizer is the Department of Basics of Production Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Initial decisions have already been made, including: establishing an organizational and scientific committee, defining thematic areas, assigning responsibilities to individual team members, establishing a schedule and participation costs. A hybrid format of the conference is planned, subject to the possibility of switching to remote mode if the COVID-19 pandemic develops.
