Abstract: The “MISIO – Young Innovators of Intelligent Machining Systems” project is implemented within the discipline of mechanical engineering and aims to strengthen the internationalization of Lublin University of Technology through the development and implementation of an Intensive International Education Programme (IIEP) focused on the digitization and virtualization of mechanical machining processes using the SIEMENS NX CAM system. The programme will cover the design, programming and virtualization of milling, turning and drilling processes as well as the use of modern CNC technologies in line with the Industry 5.0 concept. The IIEP will be delivered five times in a hybrid format and in English for a total of 50 international students and doctoral candidates. The project also provides for the enhancement of competencies of 8 academic staff members through specialist training and study visits. Additional activities include participant recruitment, development of cooperation with foreign partner universities, verification of learning outcomes, and promotion and dissemination of project results. The project will contribute to improving the quality of education in modern manufacturing technologies, developing CAD/CAM and CNC competencies, and strengthening the international position of Lublin University of Technology.
