Abstract: The project includes the implementation of activities targeted at full-time undergraduate students and staff involved in the education and teaching process in order to minimize dropout at Lublin University of Technology. Project tasks include: 1. An effective recruitment system – creating a portal presenting reliable information about the educational offer of Lublin University of Technology; 2. A drop-out monitoring system – collecting and analyzing data to detect unfavorable phenomena affecting student dropout; 3. A Careers Office development system – improving employee competences and expanding tools supporting student development; 4. Expanding the university mobile application with a module for finding answers to study-related problem situations; 5. Integration days for students organized at the beginning of the academic year; 6. A series of coaching meetings for academic staff aimed at developing their soft skills and teaching workshops; 7. Regular information and communication meetings between faculty authorities and academic teachers and students; 8. Extracurricular activities for students in difficult subjects and with low pass rates; 9. Motivational meetings for students with graduates who have achieved professional success; 10. Peer support for students - mentoring program; 11. Training for students - strengths and weaknesses - use of the Gallup test; 12. Support for students' personal development and soft skills - training meetings organized for students by the Careers Office. Expected results include: increased soft skills, especially communication skills in the academic environment between teachers and students; increased student security through the development of various forms of support for their study and problem-solving skills, including increased access to psychological support and career counseling; development of teaching and soft skills, especially communication skills, among academic teachers and administrators supporting the teaching process at the university; improved pass rates in subjects that students find difficult; strengthened student bonds with their university; personal development of students through various support methods targeted at them; better understanding of the needs of the academic teacher-student relationship; building healthy relationships between staff involved in the teaching and learning process and students; and fostering a friendly, effective, and safe atmosphere for studying at Lublin University of Technology. Activities will be conducted during the academic year; all forms of support are free of charge for students and staff. The project covers all faculties of Lublin University of Technology and full-time first-cycle programs, particularly those with the highest drop-out rates. The project is of an educational nature and is addressed to all academic teachers, regardless of the scientific discipline they represent, evaluated or not evaluated at the Lublin University of Technology.
