OTM-R Policy =Open, Transparent and Merit-based Recruitment of Researchers

refers to the way and procedure of conducting competitions for the positions of scientific and research and teaching staff in the LUT.

In order to eliminate barriers in achieving an open labour market for researchers, Lublin University of Technology:

• implements the principles includedin the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Research Staff for research and research and teaching positions on an equal basis, candidates from both Poland and European Union and non-EU countries (Rector's Ordinance No. R-53-2018),
• applies open, transparent and substantive recruitment procedures, appropriate to the level of the position, which are internationally comparable and in line with the fundamental principles of the Charter and Code and the Guide (sets out clear and explicit recruitment rules and procedures),
• 31 December 2021 updates the Guide to recruiting research and teaching staff in an open call procedure (Rector's Ordinance No. R-133/2021),
• promotes gender equality through the appointment of the Rector's Representative for Equality and the Team for the Implementation and Monitoring of the Gender Equality Plan for the Lublin University of Technology (Rector's Ordinance No. R-97/2022).
