Rector's Representative of the Gender Equality

Rector's Representative of Gender Equality at the Lublin University of Technology ensures that the universal right of every person to equality and protection from discrimination is respected.

Rector's Representative of Gender Equality at the LUT was appointed in person of professor Anna Halicka (contact: a.halicka@pollub.pl) by the Rector's Ordinance No. R-97/2022 - 17 November 2022 (available by logging on to the INTRANET)

In accordance with above Rector's Ordinance, there are following tasks of the LUT's Gender Equality Officer:

• Investigating, at the Rector's order, the employees and doctoral students' complaints of the Lublin University of Technology concerning discrimination,
• Supporting employees and doctoral students of the Lublin University of Technology who are victims of discrimination,
• Resolving contentious situations (organising mediations),
• Cooperating with faculty/unit authorities to maintain equality standards,
• Collaborating with institutions of the social environment, in particular the third sector, to promote and maintain equality standards,
• Organising pro-equality, anti-discrimination and other trainings to promote social relations standards
