On 28–29 October 2026, Lublin University of Technology will host Professor Fabrizio Scarpa from the University of Bristol, a renowned expert in mechanical metamaterials, metacomposites, and advanced materials with unique properties. Professor Scarpa leads the Materials research area at the Bristol Composites Institute. His scientific achievements include more than 770 publications, which have been cited over 33,000 times on Google Scholar.
