Maciej Kołodziejczyk, a staff member of the Physical Education and Sports Centre at Lublin University of Technology, has once again reached the top of the world volleyball podium.
On 2 August 2026, together with the Polish men's national volleyball team, he won the 2026 FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League gold medal. In a thrilling five-set final, the Polish team defeated the United States, claiming another prestigious title and reaffirming its dominance on the international volleyball stage. This is yet another remarkable achievement in Maciej Kołodziejczyk's impressive collection of sporting successes.
On a daily basis, Maciej Kołodziejczyk serves as the second assistant coach to the head coach of the Polish national team, Nikola Grbić. In the domestic league, he is also the assistant coach of Bogdanka LUK Lublin, the current runners-up of the Polish Championship.
