Human Resources Development Policy at the LUT

The European Commission awarded the HR Excellence in Research logo to the Lublin University of Technology on 18 July 2017. This prestigious award given to European research units identifies Lublin University of Technology as an institution that creates some of the best working and development conditions for researchers in Europe.

The HR Excellence in Research logo, as part of the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R), is a quality confirmation of the application of the highest standards in research and employment of the Unioversity staff.

LUT's DECLARATION

The award is part of the implementation process of principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the LUT's Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.

The European Charter for Researchers:

• defines the roles, responsibilities and entitlements of researchers and their employers or funders,
• aims to ensure that the relationship state between researchers and their employers or funders is conducive to positive outcomes,
• aims to ensure the sustainable development of researchers,
• recognises the value of all forms of mobility as a means to further the professional development of researchers.

The assumptions of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code coincide with the LUT's development strategy and mission, aiming to make it more innovative and attractive to all employees.
