Lublin University of Technology and the University College of Applied Sciences in Chełm join forces to initiate and implement joint scientific and didactic projects. This will increase the potential of both universities.

The cooperation agreement was signed on May 26, 2023 at Lublin University of Technology by Professor Zbigniew Pater and Professor Arkadiusz Tofil.

– In fact, the agreement only formalizes our cooperation, because the universities have been cooperating with each other for a long time. A network of modern laboratories, teams of talented scientists, professional and often unique research equipment - these are just some of the advantages of our centers. Their combination can give a spectacular effect in the form of e.g. development of innovative projects for the defense industry - emphasizes Prof. Zbigniew Pater, rector of Lublin University of Technology.

This is another important agreement that creates new learning and development opportunities for students and employees of both universities. Its aim is to mutually benefit from each other's resources, knowledge and experience.

- The machinery and technology park at our universities, as well as the knowledge and competences of our scientists are so attractive and strong that we can undertake really large and ambitious projects. I dare say that we should not be afraid to compete with large foreign concerns - noted Prof. Arkadiusz Tofil, rector of the University College of Applied Sciences in Chełm.

The cooperation is to be carried out, inter alia, in the field of implementation of joint didactic, research and development projects, commercialization of their results and transfer to the economy. There are also plans to conduct postgraduate studies, courses, trainings and other forms of education. The agreement also covers the provision of teaching aids, laboratory facilities and equipment for educating students. An important area of cooperation is the organization of scientific conferences, symposiums, lectures, workshops and seminars.
