Vocational training in Industry 4.0

The seminar aimed to familiarize students with the new requirements posed by changes related to the concept of Industry 4.0. As part of the event, industry experts, employers and specialists presented current specializations, innovative technological solutions and digital tools aimed at supporting production processes in the context of Industry 4.0.

It began with a presentation of the idea of Industry 4.0, shedding light on new challenges and necessary competences for future specialists. The speakers presented models of vocational education, offers of specialized education at universities, and national initiatives supporting the introduction of new technological areas.

The promotion of programs and teaching methods covered by the “VET Education 4.0 for Industry 4.0” project was a key element, directing students' attention to practical professional development opportunities. The seminar was also a forum for employers who had the opportunity to express their expectations towards future employees.

The speakers discussed in detail the areas of knowledge and skills that they consider important in the context of recruiting university graduates. The seminar focused on practical knowledge, the key to self-development in a professional environment. The students had the opportunity to learn what competences are expected by entrepreneurs from the region, which was a valuable insight for their future professional careers.
