On June 6, 2023, at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, during the meeting of the vice-rectors for research and development of public technical universities, an agreement on cooperation of Polish technical universities in the field of project management was signed (Technical Universities Project Management Offices Forum [TUPMO Forum]).

The agreement was signed by 20 technical universities. The partners of the agreement declared their willingness to cooperate in the field of project management.

The principal obligations outlined in the agreement are:

• mutual cooperation in applying for projects;
• exchange of information and experience on ongoing and planned projects;
• presenting a common position on competitions and programs financing/co-financing projects for Polish technical universities;
• common strategies for applying for external funds;
• improving the qualifications of employees of partnering universities in the area of project management, e.g. through joint trainings and workshops;
• exchange of knowledge, e.g. through conferences, meetings and workshops;
• exchange of experiences regarding the application, implementation and realization of projects;
• exchange of information and solving current issues related to the project activities of the partner universities.

During the first meeting of the TUPMO Forum in Krakow, Waldemar Dzienisz from Gdansk University of Technology was elected the chairman of the Steering Committee.
