The kickboxing team of Lublin University of Technology did not disappoint us! On May 6-7, 2023, the Polish Academic Championships in kick boxing for women and men took place in Warsaw. Our students led by coach Kazimierz Piwowarczyk won as many as 8 individual medals:

• Stanislav Haloma – bronze medal in the up to 86 kg category in the K1 formula,
• Jakub Sosik – gold medal in the up to 91 kg category in the full contact formula,
• Szymon Pietrzela – silver medal in the up to 84 kg category in the kick-light formula,
• Mikołaj Król – gold medal in the up to 69 kg category in the kick-light formula,
• Ivan Poliuk – bronze medal in the up to 63 kg category in the kick-light formula,
• Mateusz Blinowski – gold medal in the up to 57 kg category in the kick-light formula,
• Kinga Mazur – bronze medal in the up to 55 kg category in the kick-light formula,
• Paweł Fidut – gold medal in the up to 89 kg category in the point-fighting formula.
