On February 2-5, 2023, semi-finals of the Polish Academic Championships in futsal were held in Krakow, hosted by the Krakow University of Economics. Twelve teams took part in the championships, including the team of Lublin University of Technology.

Here are the results of the individual matches:

• Lublin University of Technology - Pedagogical University of Krakow (4-0);
• Lublin University of Technology - Kielce University of Technology (6-1).

In the most important quarter-final match, which decided about the promotion to the finals in Gdańsk, our team confidently defeated the University of Physical Education in Krakow (6-3).

However, in the semi-final, we slightly succumbed to the University of Applied Sciences in Tarnow (1:2). The match for the 3rd place was played by two Lublin universities – Lublin University of Technology and Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. After a fierce match, which was at a very high level, our team defeated Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (3-2).

This is a great success of our team, which last participated in the finals in 2017.
