"Science for Society II" – new projects at LUT

Project titled "Innovative materials in environmental and health protection" will be implemented by scientific teams involved in the development of the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geodesy and Transport; Environmental Engineering, Mining and Power Engineering; Automation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Space Technologies.

The aim of the project is to develop modern materials, examine their properties and products made on their basis, whose industrial and economic use will significantly improve the quality of life of the society of the Lublin region and the country. The project manager is Prof. Wojciech Franus. Value of funding: PLN 1,462,590.80

Project titled "Architecture of national identity - sacred complexes of the interwar period in the Lublin region" will be carried out by scientific teams involved in the development of the following disciplines: Architecture and Urban Planning; Technical Informatics and Telecommunications; Management and Quality Sciences.

The aim of the project is to disseminate and familiarize the local community with the architectural heritage in the form of sacral structures built in the interwar period in the Lublin region and to highlight the contribution of local communities to the development of this architecture. The project manager is Prof. Bogusław Szmygin. Value of funding: PLN 1,011,450.00
