Prof. Przemysław Czarnek, the Minister of Education and Science, presented awards for significant achievements in the field of scientific, didactic and implementation activities, as well as for overall accomplishments. One of the awardees is Prof. Józef Kuczmaszewski, who served as the Rector of Lublin University of Technology in the years 2002 - 2008.
