On January 5, 2024, thanks to the initiative of members of the Scientific Circle of Managers, our students and employees had a unique chance to participate in a carnival concert entitled "Symphonious Songbook" vol. I - "You were the heart beating", which took place in the concert hall of the Lublin Philharmonic.

The concert was not only a musical event, but also an opportunity to integrate our academic community who experienced unforgettable moments together with music at the highest level.

The Lublin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Sławomir Chrzanowski, presented a special program. The participants could enjoy jazz arrangements of well-known and popular Polish composers and performers such as Czesław Niemen, Seweryn Krajewski and Krzysztof Komeda.

The soloists' performances were unique elements of the concert. Piotr Wrombel on piano, his brother Zbigniew Wrombel on double bass, and Krzysztof Szmańda on drums created an unforgettable atmosphere. The voice was provided by Jacek Kotlarski, whose interpretations of famous songs moved and delighted the audience.

The concert repertoire included a wide range of musical emotions - from the nostalgic song "Memory" by Czesław Niemen, to energetic songs such as "Barn on Fire". Each piece was carefully selected and performed with great passion, which made the concert an unforgettable experience.

Going to the carnival concert at the Lublin Philharmonic was an opportunity for not only cultural enrichment, but also for strengthening bonds and integrating the academic community. It was a moment when science met art, creating a beautiful symphony of shared experiences.
