On February 27, 2024, the Mayor of Lublin, Dr. Krzysztof Żuk, presented letters of congratulations to this year's scholarship holders of the "City scholarship program for students and doctoral students". The authorities of Lublin University of Technology were represented by Prof. Paweł Droździel, vice-rector for student affairs.
The scholarship was awarded to 5 students and 5 doctoral students, including 4 doctoral students from Lublin University of Technology:

Ksenia Siadkowska
Małgorzata Szafraniec
Karol Ścisłowski.
– City scholarships for scientific achievements for students and doctoral students are our way of thanking and appreciating young scientists for their involvement in the development of the city, as well as motivation for further study and work. We have been awarding scholarships since 2010, and so far almost 1,200 young people have received support. I congratulate you on your fruitful scientific and research work and wish you further success - says Dr. Krzysztof Żuk.
In this edition of the program, 118 applications were submitted, including 88 applications from students and 30 applications from doctoral students.
The total amount of the scholarship awarded for a student for the academic year 2023/2024 is PLN 14,504.40, and for a doctoral student - PLN 18,130.50. In 2024, PLN 163,000 was allocated for the scholarships.
