On November 27, 2023, a mini gala of the Association of Lublin Universities was held in the Argo II building of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin.

During the ceremony, we summarized the 3rd edition of “Internship round the corner” competition and the 2nd edition of “Interproject”.

A total of 65 scientists received certificates within the frames of both initiatives.

 “Internship round the corner” is a project created for scientists who plan to undergo an internship at one of Lublin's universities. As part of the initiative, an internship can be carried out for a period of 1 to 3 months, and each scientist can complete only one internship at one university. The grantee is obliged to indicate a research supervisor employed at the university where he or she plans to carry out the internship, plan the course of work, and finally submit a report. The internship does not release the employee from the full-time duties of the researcher's home university.

The aim of “Interproject” is to build interdisciplinary research teams conducting laboratory work, the results of which will constitute the basis for obtaining external funds for further research work. Projects whose participants represent at least three universities are preferred.
