In the latest Perspektywy University Ranking 2023, Lublin University of Technology was ranked 25th among over 100 Polish universities. This is 7 points higher than last year. On the other hand, in the list of technical universities, our university is ranked 8th, similarly to last year.

The ranking presents the best universities in Poland. The list includes 30 indicators grouped into 7 criteria: Prestige, Graduates on the labor market, Academic Potential, Innovation, Academic Effectiveness, Education conditions and Internationalization.

Lublin University of Technology has once again proved that it is one of the leaders of innovation and inventiveness. The university took second place, i.e. one position higher compared to last year, in the innovation category, receiving the maximum number of points (100) for patents and protection rights.

- Such a high position of our university in the ranking reflects the high quality of scientific research and the increasingly better international opinion, as well as the effective transfer of knowledge to the economy. For several years, we have been at the forefront of universities in terms of innovation. And this time we confirmed our strong position in patent activity. We owe it to the very high efficiency of our employees. Last year, our scientists received 95 decisions on obtaining patents and reported 175 inventions to the Patent Office - says Prof. Zbigniew Pater, rector of Lublin University of Technology.

The "Perspektywy" ranking also includes information on the most popular fields of study offered at Polish universities. At Lublin University of Technology, the following were rated the highest: mechatronics, transport (4th place, in 2022 - 5th), architecture, civil engineering, and electrical engineering (6th place).

The "Perspektywy" ranking is one of the most extensive and transparent lists. Its methodology is developed by the Chapter chaired by Prof. Michał Kleiber, former president of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
