We will jointly create the National Vocational Olympiad entitled: "A year before graduation". The official signing of the cooperation agreement between the Lublin Self-Government Teacher Training Center, Lublin University of Technology, the Lublin City Commune - Energy School Complex, and PKP Intercity, took place on November 24, 2023 at the Transport and Communication School Complex.

The Olympiad is addressed to fourth-grade students of technical schools from all over Poland studying railways or railway-related fields of study in specific professions.

The aim of the Olympiad is to promote vocational education, as well as to appreciate students who are active and involved in the development of their skills acquired in technical and vocational schools - explains Krzysztof Staruch, Director of the Lublin Self-Government Teacher Training Center.

Thanks to the mutual cooperation, students will have the opportunity to benefit from scholarships, support, and obtain a certificate entitling them to start studies at Lublin University of Technology.

As every year, we will organize one of the stages of the National Olympiad at Lublin University of Technology and a summary, during which we will officially give students symbolic certificates entitling them to study at our university - explains the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Paweł Droździel.

Interest in the Olympiad among students, teachers and institutions is growing every year. We hope that the next editions will be equally successful and fruitful for the participants.
